On March 15th, 2009, immediately following the 2009 Chicago Southside Irish Parade, Pipe Corporal John "Ducky" Gritsuk took the knee and asked his girlfriend Katie Moore, a tenor drummer with the band, for her hand in marriage...... She said yes. Members from both John and Katie's families, and well as their family of pipers and drummers, were on hand to witness the proposal. Congratulations to Ducky and Katie!!!!! |
