Welcome to our home!  The Band of Brothers is a bagpipe and drum band made up entirely of active and retired firefighters from the Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, representing departments from Lake Zurich, IL to Gary, IN, and everywhere in between.  Much like the Emerald Society- Chicago Police, the Band of Brothers was formed in 2002 with the primary purpose of providing musical support at the funerals of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty, keeping a 150 year tradition alive. The band is contacted an average of 6-10 times a year and travels countless miles to provide this service. 

The band also assists local municipalities for various memorial and non-LODD funeral services, as well as provides bagpipers for military funeral services at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
